spa guidelines

All packages are offered on a per person experience, not shared with another person. The Heavenly Moana and Pūliki packages may be experienced on more than one day, but must be completed within 7 days of first service. All other packages are only offered as a same day experience.

reservations

Reservations on day of service and walk-in appointments are always welcome. We encourage our guests to schedule their appointments in advance to ensure preferred treatment or therapist availability. All reservations must be secured with a major credit card and telephone number/room number. To make a reservation please use our Online Reservations Form or call (808) 237-2535 or dial extension 42535 from within the resort.

hours of spa operation

Daily from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
First service to begin at 9:00 a.m. and last 50 minute service will begin at 7:00 p.m. Westin Workout is open 24 hours daily, and is accessible by guestroom key.

health concerns

Please advise our Spa Experience Consultant upon arranging your spa services if you are pregnant, have other significant health issues or concerns, so we may properly advise you of the best services to receive.

cancellation policy

We require six hours notice for changes or cancellations for our a la carte services and a 24 hour notice for services that are part of a package. The full price of your service(s) will be charged for all late cancellations or no shows. Please keep in mind that arriving late for a spa service may require us to shorten the length of the treatment with full charges applied, so as to not inconvenience other guests.

service charge and gratuities

An 18% service charge (plus applicable taxes) will be added to your bill. The service charge includes a 16% gratuity for staff.

take time

Give yourself plenty of time to enjoy the steam, sauna or whirlpool prior to your services. This will relax and warm the muscles, aiding in the therapeutic benefits of all treatments and services. We suggest arriving 30-45 minutes prior to your first service. Respect yourself and others by turning off communication devices prior to entering the spa, locker rooms and treatment areas.

shower

A quick shower just before your massage or treatment is relaxing and washes off any salts, minerals or chemicals that could clog pores when mixed with oils or other treatment products. We require spa guests enjoying the whirlpool to shower before use.

treatment attire

Unless the service description specifies otherwise, it is customary to wear just your robe to your service. You will be given the opportunity to disrobe and cover yourself in privacy. Throughout your services, your body will be draped with linens for modesty. At no time during your treatment will you be fully exposed.

communication

Prior to the start of your service, tell your therapist the areas you would like to focus on, and any areas to be avoided. During your service, let the therapist know if you feel any discomfort. Communication is the key to getting what you want out of your Moana Lani Spa experience.

age requirements

Guests of Moana Lani Spa must be at least 16 years of age for the use of the locker rooms, spa amenities and spa treatments; a parent or guardian will need to be present when minors receive services or use the amenities. For those under the age of 16, please consult with our Spa Experience Consultants for service arrangements.

personal valuables

We request that all valuables be stored in your guestroom prior to arrival at the spa. The Moana Surfrider, a Westin Resort and Spa are not responsible for lost, stolen or misplaced items.
